Ruby reds, carnelian oranges, and rusty browns – we're looking to push the boundaries of this storied natural dye plant to a variety of hues. This class will have the pleasure of digging in and harvesting some of the Guild's madder root which is now four years in the making, learning about how to process the roots for dye, and then hands-on dyeing using modifiers to produce three shades on wool mini-skeins.
