I KNOW / I AM: A Three-Part Dance, Astrology & Botanical Dye Workshop

Who: Female-identifying participants ages 12-18

Ground down and release as we feel into the themes of the root, including security, self-worth, and belonging. This  offering aligns with the New and Full Moons, combining explorations in botanical dyeing, astrology, meditative trail walks, and movement inspired by the vivid red hue produced by madder root, a storied plant historically used for its natural color. The goal is for participants to leave with a deeper, personal understanding of the phrase “I Know / I Am,” having practiced body work, guided meditations, and each dyeing their own silk veil with madder root, the final night will culminate in a dance class using their veil and a bonfire to release what no longer serves us.

Cost: $10 for all three sessions
